Spring 2026 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Welcome to Chamberlayne Little League. The Chamberlayne Little League Spring Baseball and Softball League is designed to focus on building the foundational and fundamental skills and knowledge associated with the games of baseball and softball. Additionally, it is our goal to offer a place to play competitively without becoming to expensive for families in the Eastern and Northern Henrico Regions. The Spring League is open to players who are ages 4 - 16 as of August 31, 2026 for baseball divisions and December 31, 2025 for softball divisions.

Unfortunately, we do NOT offer a Challenger Division. If you are located in our boundaries and is interested in the Challenger Program, please email us at the email address below and we will help you find the closest Little League offering that division.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help make this organization GREAT for our players.

To become a board member, coach, manager, team mom, umpire or any other volunteer that will have consistent contact with CLLB children, a background check is mandatory. Please be sure to complete the Volunteer Section of the Registration Section or email us [email protected] to start that process.

Once you have registered your child, we will contact you to confirm your registration and provide any additional information we may need from you.

2026 Spring Tee Ball Registration (Coed) Ages 4 & 5

A brief overview of the Divisions offerings:

Tee Ball Players Ages 4 – 6

Players are taught the very basic fundamentals of baseball. Those fundamentals are: base running, throwing, catching and hitting. Hitting is done using the assistance of a tee. This division is primarily focused on First year players who are in grades PK-1st.
Players who are age 6 and are newcomers to baseball are encouraged to play tball as an introduction to the sport.
Player Evaluations are not performed for this age group. Teams are placed on teams by the Coaches and Division Directors.
Soft Tee Balls are used for this age group

A brief overview of the Divisions offerings:

1) Coach Pitch: Players Ages 6 - 8

First year of not using the tee. The Coach Serves as the pitcher (Coach Pitch). NO TEE is used for assistance. Players begin to learn more in depth fundamentals and rules of the game. Games are officiated by an Umpire.
Players are evaluated (required) and placed on teams through the Draft process. All registered players will be drafted onto a team.
Games are played using a real baseball.
Practices will take place on both weekday evenings and on weekends days prior to the start of the Games played.
Games are played during the week and weekends as determined by the Game Schedule (The Official Game Schedule will be released in early March)

2) Minors: Players Age 8 - 10

Pitching Mound: 46’ Base Distance: 60’
This age division is also known as the "Kid Pitch" division. At this age a pitcher is incorporated into the game along with the ability to steal bases. Players will learn more in depth fundamentals that will enhance their game.
Players are evaluated (required) and placed on teams through the Draft process. All registered players will be drafted onto a team.
All Players intending to playing in this Division MUST attend the Minor Division Evaluation.
An 8 year old player needs to attend both the Coach Pitch and Minor evaluations to be considered eligible for Minor Division Play.
Practices will take place on both weekday evenings and on weekends days prior to the start of the Games played.
Games are played during the week and weekends as determined by the Game Schedule (The Official Game Schedule will be released in early March)

4) Majors: Players Age 10-12 (Little League)

Pitching Mound: 46’ Base Distance: 60'
At this age a pitcher is incorporated into the game along with the ability to steal bases. Players will learn more in depth fundamentals that will enhance their game. Players will learn more in depth fundamentals that will enhance their game. Starting to lead off. Pitchers are learning to hold runners on base.
Players are evaluated (required) and placed on teams through the Draft process. All registered players will be drafted onto a team.
All Players intending to playing in this Division MUST attend the Major Division Evaluation.
A 10 year old player needs to attend both the Minor and Major evaluations to be considered eligible for Major Division Play.
Practices will take place on both weekday evenings and on weekends days prior to the start of the Games played.
Games are played during the week and weekends as determined by the Game Schedule (The Official Game Schedule will be released in early March)

5) Intermediate 50/70: Players Age 11-13

Pitching Mound: 50’ Base Distance: 70'
Players are able to take leads at this age. Players will learn more in depth fundamentals that will enhance their game. Starting to lead off. Pitchers are learning to hold runners on base.
Players are evaluated (required) and placed on teams through the Draft process. All registered players will be drafted onto a team.
All Players intending to playing in this Division MUST attend the Major Division Evaluation.
All 11 and 12 year old players need to attend both the Major and Intermediate evaluations to be considered eligible for Intermediate Division Play.
Practices will take place on both weekday evenings and on weekends days prior to the start of the Games played.
Games are played during the week and weekends as determined by the Game Schedule (The Official Game Schedule will be released in early March)

6) Junior and Senior Players Ages 13 – 16

Pitching Mound: 60’ 6” Base Distance: 90’
These age divisions are for those players looking for the full baseball experience as played at the Middle School level and beyond.
Practices will take place on both weekday evenings and on weekends days prior to the start of the Games played.
Games are played during the week and weekends as determined by the Game Schedule (The Official Game Schedule will be released in early March)
